This privacy information applies to kassenregeln.de. Further provider details are available in the Legal notice.
2. Website and hosting
We use Cloudflare, Inc. to deliver and secure the website. Technical data such as IP address, requested address, time, browser information and connection or error status is processed. This enables page delivery and the detection and prevention of faults and abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in reliable and secure website operation under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Cloudflare operates a global network; processing outside the EU or the European Economic Area, particularly in the United States, is possible. In its Data Processing Addendum Cloudflare describes the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and, for restricted transfers to third countries, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses as transfer mechanisms. Further information is available in the Cloudflare privacy policy.
Fonts are served with the website. We do not embed analytics, advertising or social-media scripts and do not set analytics or advertising cookies. The website does not save form entries or check answers in Local Storage or Session Storage.
The appearance initially follows your device setting. When you switch the appearance, the website remembers only your choice of “Light” or “Dark” in the current browser tab’s Session Storage. This keeps the appearance consistent as you move between pages during that session. The setting contains no user identifier and is not transmitted to servers. This functional storage is based on § 25 paragraph 2 number 2 TDDDG.
3. Your answers in the Cash Register Check
The check processes your answers in your browser's memory. The website does not send them to moaby or Formspree, or copy them into the page address, contact form or an analytics platform. Reloading the page resets the check.
If you print the result or save it as a PDF through the print dialog, a copy is created on your device or the printing system you choose. You decide whether and with whom to share it.
4. Contact form, email and telephone
The contact form requires a name, email address and message so that we can identify and answer your enquiry. Business, telephone number, topic and business type are optional. You can use the website and the Cash Register Check without contacting us. Please do not send tax documents or particularly sensitive personal data.
Only when you submit does the website send your form entries to Formspree, Inc. over an encrypted connection. Formspree processes the enquiry and makes it available to moaby for handling. Fixed identifiers for the website and form page, along with a fixed subject, are also sent to classify the enquiry. Formspree also processes technical data such as IP address, browser information, the website's origin and submission time. Simply opening the contact form does not establish a connection to Formspree.
Formspree stores submitted enquiries in its submission archive. We also use Formspree’s email delivery to handle enquiries. The enabled Formshield filter uses machine learning to screen submitted data for spam and abuse. This filtering serves our legitimate interest in preventing unwanted or abusive enquiries under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Formspree states that it operates its infrastructure in the United States and uses EU Standard Contractual Clauses as a processor. Details are available in its Formspree security and transfer information and in the Formspree privacy policy. Without JavaScript, submitting the form opens a Formspree page; Formspree's privacy notice also applies to that external page.
We use your details to handle your enquiry, clarify follow-up questions and, where appropriate, prepare an offer you requested. If it concerns a contract with you or pre-contractual steps at your request, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Other enquiries, including those from a company's contact person, are handled on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
You can also contact us by email or telephone. We then process the contact details and information you provide to handle your enquiry. Access is granted to the people handling it and the form, email and IT service providers used for that purpose.
5. Retention periods
Enquiry data is retained for as long as it is needed to handle your request and related follow-up questions. Relevant factors include whether the enquiry is closed, whether a contractual relationship arises, and whether legal retention duties or the establishment or defence of legal claims require further storage. Once the purpose no longer applies and there is no other basis for retention, the data is deleted.
The retention period for technical connection and security data depends on what is necessary for operation, fault analysis and investigation of security incidents. Check answers are not stored permanently by the website.
6. Links to other websites
The website links to official sources and moaby. You only visit the external website when you open its link. Its own privacy notice then applies. The links do not include answers from the Cash Register Check.
7. Your rights
Subject to the applicable legal conditions, you can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it for the future.
Your right to object
You may object at any time to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your particular situation.
You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority, for example the Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information. To exercise your rights or request information about the transfer safeguards mentioned, contact moaby at info@moaby.app.
